Your 8th month included your first trip to the beach (Destin, Fl) and your longest road trip.
You did pretty well in the car considering it is an 11-12 hour drive. You absolutely loved the pool, ocean, and the sand. So glad we have another beach baby in our house because this family LOVES going to the beach in the summers.
Stats:
No official stats again this month. Still a terrific eater, sleeper, and overall baby. you have 5 and working on the sixth teeth. You crawl everywhere and pull up to stand when Hudson is near.
We stayed at Roger and Debbie's condo. It is a beautiful 3 bedroom unit on the 9th floor of Ariel Dunes. It sits right on the beach and has several large pools that are great for the children, a restaurant onsite that delivers to you and easy access to all of the wonderful things Destin and the 30A area have to offer.
We had family photos taken while we were there to celebrate JimJim and SuSu's 45th wedding anniversary. They turned out SO good. If you are in the Destin/30A area consider using Jessisca Winkler for your photography needs. She was reasonably priced, friendly, and did a fantastic job photographing 6 people near the boys bedtime.
On the way back from Destin Travis surprised us with a pit stop (that wasn't on our way) in College Station to pick up our new puppy! Rigby "Riggs" Riley a Bluetick Coonhound officially joined our family. She was born 6/4/17. She is the perfect mix of our old dogs CoonDog and Parker (Redbone Coonhounds) and Maggie (Blue Heeler).
Visiting Cita and Pops in Llano and playing at the local splash pad was a big hit with Hudson!
