Roll On Highway

Visitors. Have I mentioned just how much I LURRVVEE friends coming to visit? Well if I haven't, here it is: I. Heart. Company. Head south on US281 and come on!

There, I said it.

Marci, one of my bestest friends in the whole wide world (since the 6th grade), and her hubs, Kyle, came to visit us over the weekend!

M and K have 2 precious, precious little girls and they came sans children--ready to have fun, relax, and sleep in!

Friday night we took zero pictures, but we spent the evening on our front porch enjoying fajitas, country music, and cold beverages. It was heaven. We managed to stay up until after 10pm, too!

Saturday we started the day by visiting downtown Boerne. The boys came with, but soon departed after they realized we would be shopping.

$10 for these gems. We tried them on and they inflicted pain just standing there. No, thank you.

Post lunch we headed back to our house and had a mini photo shoot at the not-so-full-we-need-rain Guadalupe River.

We ate dinner in Helotes at El Chap. Food, drinks, and company were great!

After dinner we headed to the famous Floore's Country Store to hear Cody Canada and The Departed. Cody used to be the lead singer for Cross Canadian Ragweed. They broke up, and now he's doin' his own thing.

The boys and their Lone Star Light. Everytime these two get together, they realize they have more in common. They like a lot of the same weird things (peanut butter on pancakes/waffles) and both have an infinite love for hunting.

Have I mentioned how much I love my friend? She's the best. We can go weeks without talking, but we always pick up without skipping a beat. I'm so blessed to have her as a friend!!

We finally got a group pic and it's a pretty good one!

I hated to see M and K leave, but they had to get back to their girls...although, we did try and find some houses for them to buy in Boerne...someday, riiiiggghhht????

I can't wait for our next 'reunion' to M Bar M, or is it Our Little Patch of Blue Skies and Butterflies??
