Two Months

I'm not sure how it happened so quickly, but Charlie is 2 months old. I feel like we blinked and another month passed us by.

Charlie is beginning to show more signs of his personality. He's smiling, cooing, putting his hands in his mouth, looking at everything he can, holding his head up well, and loves to be held/snuggled.

We're still recovering from RSV. He's congested and sneezes, but the doctor has cleared him and just says it's all in his head and that his lungs and chest are clear. Yay! It's just so hard to hear him coughing and sneezing. We want ou Charlie to be 100%, but are prayerful it will happen soon.

2 Month Stats:
Height: 23.5 inches (90%)
Weight: 12.8 lbs (75%)
Head: 40cm

Compared to Hudson, Charlie is a little smaller...but he also started out an inch shorter and a few ounces lighter.

His hair. It's a show stopper and always gets people's attention. We comb it down after every bath and it continues to find its way up during the night. #charlieshair

Baby dedication. Just like we did with Hudson, we stood in front our our church family and vowed to raise Charlie in a Christian home and instill the importance of a relationship with Christ. It was so special to have our families there to celebrate with us and support us and most importantly pray for us as rear our children.

Likes: Eating, car rides, tummy time, smiling, watching Hudson, and recently he's moved from hating baths to enjoying them!

Dislikes: diaper and clothing changes, sleeping on his back ( he loves his tummy. I know it's a "no-no" but it's his preferred method).

Eating: he eats every 3 hours during the day and has become another Babywise baby like his brother!

Sleeping: he naps fairly well at home and is not napping so well at daycare because he can't sleep on his tummy there. He goes to bed after his 7pm feeding. I do a dresmcfeed at 10pm and he sleeps until 5-6am! Hallelujah!

We made a quick trip to Austin and met Debra and Margot at Matt's for some of the best queso you will ever have. The Bob. Think queso with guacamole, meat, pico. It's deliciously addicting. Go to Matt's.

I went back to work after 8 weeks off. I was ready to go back, but it's always hard to leave my boys. Travis is so very supportive with my desire to be a working mom and he willingly steps into the roll of super dad and gets both boys bathed and to sleep while I'm working.
This screen shot just melts my heart. Seeing travis feed Charlie just turns my heart into mush and makes me appreciate what a wonderful husband I have. Thank you for all you do, Travis!

A play date with Bailey. Although Charlie slept through most of it.

We love you Charlie and can't wait to see what month 3 has in store for us!
