Hold On For One More Day

I am long overdue for a Riley update!

**Warning: hold on for a long post. lots of pictures***

My beloved car, Barney, and I celebrated a huge milestone in March. He also just turned 9 years old!

We took a trip to Waco to see my family.

While in Waco we got to visit with one of my favorites: The Davis'!!

Karlie was not up for pictures. Loved our visit with this sweet family!

That Sunday we also had a special treat! Our dear friend, Alli, was visiting from Denver so we had brunch with her and a life-long friend, Natalie!

Fun weekend, right?!?

Next up? Our 5th anniversary!
I cannot believe it has been 5 years since we said "I Do!" Time flies when you're having fun.

We celebrated with a nice dinner at Scenic Loop Cafe. It's one of our Boerne favs.

We've had some awesome weather and so we too advantage of our easy access to the Guadalupe. We sat in the river, played washers, and brought Parker with us. It was a perfect ending to our anniversary weekend!

So handsome!! I love Mr. Riley!

Sweet Parker.

How about a weekend at the Riley Lakehouse in Horseshoe Bay?

We couldn't pass that up either....

I never get tired of that view.

We went for a run and I convinced T to take some pics of me in the bluebonnets.

The Rangers came to SA for their final spring training games. We got tickets with our friends and made a weekend of it staying at the Drury Plaza on the river walk. So fun!
**Free Advertisement: this was our first time staying at a Drury and it was amazing! They provide free drink coupons for evening happy hour, a great dinner and breakfast (all free). They also have a coke machine, coffee, tea and popcorn available all day--again, for free!! Check to see if a Drury is in your area next time you travel.

Room with a view

Kevin and Trav.

We also watched our friends dog, Big Boy, while they were lounging on the beaches of Mexico!

He fits right in and looks like CoonDog and Parker!

Sending his dad birthday greetings.

Wanna see where Trav works?

Not the Walgreens, y'all. The big building behind it is the new University Hospital for SA. pretty cool, huh?

Trav turned 31!!!

We finally re-did our flower beds with the help of Trav's parents.

Before

3 yards of mulch

After

And finally, we went to Houston where Travis' company had a big party celebrating their 25th anni. They even put all employees up in hotel rooms. So fun!

Love him!

The End.
