We met the crew at the famously delicious Bluebonnet Cafe for breakfast where Trav and I attempted to devour a cinnamon roll, but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs.
A trip to the lake wouldn't be complete without a stop at the local (very expensive) grocery store, J'mails.
This is where I spotted this pig:
The butcher informed us his name is George.
The remainder of our stay was spent in the sun, by the pool, on the boat ( errr Pontoon) driven by one handsome man, and dining on the patio.
I think he's so cute! Love me some Captain Riley.
Cruising through the canals of Applehead Island is one of my favorite things to do. I love dreaming which house we would buy. Problem is I don't have a spare $6 million.
It was a fast and quick trip so we could celebrate Mother's Day with Travis' parents. We hosted a little lunch at our house.
We had a wonderful lunch and enjoyed spending time celebrating Judi!
We weren't able to see my folks, so I found this picture and sent it to my mom. It's from Easter 1986 in my grandparents backyard.
Just love it! We get to see my parents this weekend. They will be Boerne bound for a fun weekend of shopping, golfing, and canoeing the Guadalupe!
How was your Mother's Day weekend?
