This past year has been one incredible ride, and so much of it feels like a good dream because Hudson is such a wonderful and happy child. We are blessed beyond measure and thank The Lord daily for our sweet Hudson.
It's sad to think that our "Baby Bear" is now a "Toddler Bear", but it's also such a treat to watch him grow, explore, and learn.
We celebrated the big first birthday with a Lumberjack Bash surrounded by our closest friends and family.
SuSu supplied most of the food trays, drink tubs, and even made the buffalo check banner and hand sewed the burlap bunting. I couldn't have done it without her help! Also, Pinterest helped a lot, too.
The slide, swing, and washer puts outdid were a hit with the guests.
Travis and I are so very thankful to our friends and family that attended the party, but have also prayed for us and with us as we have entered into parenthood. It's comforting knowing you have the love and support of family and friends. Without them we wouldn't be who we are today.
And to our sweet Hudson Bear: you are a true delight and joy to be around. You still look like an exact replica of your dad but you have the personality of your mom. You smile all the time, love showing off your full mouth of teeth, can say Dada, Mama, Ball, dog and hi. You love all food and have transitioned so well to a sippy cup and whole milk. You took your first steps on 2/7/15 at home and take more steps every day. You make friends everywhere we go and always get comments/compliments on your hair color. It seems that your once blue eyes (like mom) are now hazel/green (like your dad). We love you so very much and can't wait to see what the Lord has planned for you this next year. Dream big little one.
