It's Cookie Time

Our small group got together last night for a fun activity. The guys watched Sunday Night Football and the girls learned how to properly decorate and ice cookies.

One of the girls in our group worked at a bakery while her husband was in law school and shared her tricks of the trade with us!

I had so much fun, but certainly don't see a future of decorating in my future.

This was the plate of examples Sarah made for us

The beginning of my pumpkin that I transformed into a Jack-o-Lantern.

His mouth is a little crooked, but he's still pretty cute.

We are going to try decorating again at Christmas, and I hope to show you my creations with some decorating improvement.

Happy Fall, Y'all!

What's Goin' On

It's been a while since I've blogged, and that's because we have been busy!

Let's see, we've played with this precious 2 year old:

Took Parker to the river:

Loved on our horses:

Volunteered at the Kendall County Fair and Rodeo. Met lots of neat people and had so much fun:

Working means playing, right??

It wouldn't be a fair without a small town parade:

My sweet friend, Tobi, from school met us at the fair on the last night. Isn't her family precious???

CoonDog waiting for Travis to come home from work.

Found some old pics of my brother and I:

Last weekend my friend, Rebecca, and my cousin's daughter, Emily, surprised Kellye (cousin, friend, and mom) with a weekend at a friends beach house in Galveston. Talk about a fun girls weekend! The weather was amazing, saw very little seaweed, and no jellyfish!

And most recently, Travis and I headed to Joshua Creek Ranch and shot sporting clays. Well, Travis shot and I pressed the button and walked the course with him. It was so much fun and their ranch is beautiful!!

And that is What's Goin' On with the Rileys.
